I think I'll have to do some for fall/winter wear. :-)

Rebecca, Haha! I'm glad you like the hair! My hair and I have an uneasy truce at the best of times, so I'm a little too emotionally involved to like it that well. ;-) The front is done in victory rolls- one on each side. It's become my new go-to style, just with the back rolled up instead of left down. The back is hot-rollered and then hairsprayed within an inch of its life. ;-) And yes, I do have an extraordinarily talented photographer. :-)

Tara, your hat really does "make" the whole outfit! I truly need to make my replica soon!Lilyhttps://www.blogger.com/profile/05380842536521048113noreply@blogger.comtag:blogger.com,1999:blog-1978074164262800388.post-33280453685382558672013-09-20T05:52:21.387-05:002013-09-20T05:52:21.387-05:00Wow, how incredible!Wow, how incredible!Lieschen Müllerhttps://www.blogger.com/profile/07791343867927686019noreply@blogger.comtag:blogger.com,1999:blog-1978074164262800388.post-59343898907545380892013-09-18T22:50:00.337-05:002013-09-18T22:50:00.337-05:00I both realize and appreciate everything you went ...I both realize and appreciate everything you went through for me. :) You're the best!!

And no matter if you dislike the '40's era, you still look stinkin' cute in it!!

And now it's *my* turn to return the favor, as I dislike 1930's.... ;)

P.S. It's right after the New Look began but before it had completely filtered down into everday fashions. The skirts are longer and fuller and just more attractive to me! You might try these years for your next 40s project.Stephanie Lynnhttps://www.blogger.com/profile/04210449948990020456noreply@blogger.comtag:blogger.com,1999:blog-1978074164262800388.post-7408764239460566712013-09-18T09:26:14.450-05:002013-09-18T09:26:14.450-05:00Heeeee! And I'm happy that you are half way to loving the 40s.... because I love the 40s.... and I feel it is important that we should agree on this important issue. Or something like that. :-P
As to the dress, it's adorable. And I really would not have expected an adorable dress out of that pattern - I never liked it on the pattern cover! This seems to be a trend with dresses in your house... :-)Kathryn Gracehttps://www.blogger.com/profile/05596587421146745254noreply@blogger.comtag:blogger.com,1999:blog-1978074164262800388.post-20528202420578345652013-09-18T09:24:42.728-05:002013-09-18T09:24:42.728-05:00Ah, wonderful!
